Fred Claus is an upcoming film set to be released at Christmas of 2007. This is a comedy, holiday film about Santa Claus and his older brother Fred Claus coming home for the holidays.
Plot

Not much is known, except for that filming has started in Chicago's Water Tower Place and Chicago's Edgebrook neighborhood, but it revolves around Santa Claus and his older brother Fred Claus. From the trailer it shows that they don't get along very well. Yahoo! movies has a plot saying that Fred Claus has to move in with his younger brother Santa Claus in the North Pole during the holiday season. He messes everything up and has to redeem himself and make everything right again.

The teaser trailer announces that lots of people come home for the holidays, even Santa Claus and his brother Fred Claus. Then it shows the two brothers sitting on the couch, arguing. It clearly shows that these two didn't get along very well. At the very end, it states that it will be coming out this Christmas, 2007.
Cast and Credits
The movie, directed by David Dobkin, it stars Paul Giamatti as Santa Claus and Vince Vaughn as Fred Claus, Santa's older brother. This comedy is written by Dan Fogelman with the story created by Jessie Nelson. Miranda Richardson (as Mrs. Claus), Ludacris, Rachel Weisz, Kathy Bates, Elizabeth Banks and Kevin Spacey round out the cast.
